好多同学拿到地点类话题感觉如临大敌，不知道应该如何下手。这一个地方有什么好说的嘛!我不会描述它的风景啊!顶多能说几句，根本撑不够时间呀…这么多困惑如何解决。

首先，大家要谨记一点，雅思口语考官是想通过抛出的问题了解大家的口语表达能力和语言能力，并不是一定要知道你描述的这个东西是否真的存在或者你描述的跟真实情况是否一致。所以我们在回答题目的过程中尽可能找到机会显示自己的表达能力，不熟悉不擅长的东西不是不得已就“绕道而行”。

另外，题卡中的小问题不一定都要说到，只要保证所给话题都能扯上关系，不要过分跑题就可以。

所以遇到地点类话题，如果对周边环境不会描述我们完全可以捡会说的说。比如说到我们去那儿干了点儿啥，我们当时的心情是怎么样的等等这些其实都可以说到。

下面我们拿一个具体的例子来看看：

Describe an interesting public place in your city (2016年5月4日试题)

(1) where this place is

(2) what you can do there 

(3) who you like to go there with and explain why you think this is an interesting place

这个话题其实不属于特别难或者偏的话题，因为限制条件不是很多也不怪。虽然它是一个地点类话题，我们大可不必费劲脑汁想如何描述那个地方的风景和设施，通过人们在那里的活动和心情就能体现出interesting这一点。

Sample answer:

I’ve really been to quite a few (many的同意替换)interesting places in my spare time. But the particular one that I would like to talk about today is Yingze park, our so-called city park in my hometown. It is not that big but with comprehensive entertainment facilities. You know, when I was a child, I always went there accompanied by my parents, walking, playing games and enjoying marshmallows there (当主语一致时我们可以用动词ing做伴随状语，避免过度使用简单). Apart from that (and的同义替换), I could enjoy the scream from people who just played the extreme amusement facilities (定语从句，增加句子的复杂程度). You know, I was so scared about the extreme activities that I could only enjoy what the players showed to us (此句中有so…that…句式，而且用what引导一个宾语从句). Not only did this place provide me a marvelous paradise in my childhood (not only放在句首，句子可以倒装。口语当中这种句式一定是个加分项), but also it enables me to relieve pressure from the work and study. Actually, this park is not far away from the place where I live. Therefore, once I have leisure time, I would like to go there to have a walk. For instance, strolling(动名词做主语也是很好的策略哦，不要只会用I作主语) around the lake is a necessity after I take dinner, which is beneficial to my health. Besides, I can breathe the fresh air as well as observing people around me, which offers me plenty of joy. You know, children after school choose to play football or kick shuttlecocks there, couples prefer to chat with each other and enhance their relationship in the park and the senior then intend to improve their health condition by doing physical exercise. It was just like a society which made you have clues about happiness and sorrow of all walks of life (这个句子用了一个虚拟语气，因为这个公园并不是一个真正的社会).

这个回答整体并没有说到这个公园的风景，但是通过人们在里面做些什么，心情如何也可以烘托出这个地方的气氛。
