Apparently，no country can avoid being swayed by the trend of globalization，under its subtle influence, the multiplication in international cooperation amongst diverse countries seems to be inevitable. Some people hold the positive attitude towards increased cooperation in terms of global economic matters. Others maintain the view that international cooperation is beneficial for environment protection. Before rendering my opinion, it is important to take a glance at the arguments on both sides.

People who advocate that the international cooperation is good for environment protection have their sound reasons. International cooperation maximizes the effects of environment protection programs. In view of current widespread damage caused by global environment pollution, it is reasonable for countries involved to take action together. Ideal solutions to the corresponding problems are out of question with collective efforts of the countries worldwide. It is a good example that the Dutch have done well in disposing of wastes. If their advanced technology can be introduced into the developing countries that could hardly invent it, not only some countries or groups but also perhaps all of the people living on earth will benefit a lot.

However，the view taken by other people is that the main advantage of international cooperation is in terms of business. International cooperation and an increasingly integrated global economy indicate more reciprocal trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of beneficial foreign labor markets. Thanks to the constructive strategic partnership among different nations, immense economic value could be generated via the mutual complement of manifold resources.

In conclusion, the merits of international cooperation lie in both environment protection and the business transaction. My stand is that cooperation amongst different countries in the environment should be emphasized more to catch up the pace with the development of the global economy and realize win-win situation in the long term.
